Ultimate Soror Soiree
Greetings, Sorors! Here is a breakdown of the plans for the proposed winter event:
  • Place: Embassy Suites Hotel Coliseum, Hampton, VA.
  • Date: 11-14 December 2025
  • Purpose: To enjoy each other’s company through social and community service activities:
    • Meet and Greet – 11 December
    • Wellness workshop – 12 December
    • Slumber party/Karaoke/gift exchange – 12 December
    • Wreath laying at the Hampton National Cemetery – 13 December
    • Interest meeting – 13 December
    • Free time (tons of shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, etc.)
    • Farewells – 14 December
Embassy Suites has the following amenities/events:
  • Complimentary breakfast with made-to-order omelets
  • Happy Hour in the evenings with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and two free drinks
  • A Hospitality Suite with an available attached Queen Suite that we can have for the whole weekend
  • Presidential and Junior Presidential Suites that can be included in our package
  • Excellent location for enjoying all the local holiday events
My husband said he is willing to help cut costs by providing the Meet and Greet buffet
I want to contact the Embassy by June 15 to finalize plans. I haven’t received many inquiries (except for Marie 😊). The event will definitely grow if I get buy-in from the org. leadership.
